Research hairstyles, consider personal style, your wedding gown and where you have chosen your reception.
Interview different stylists and discuss ideas for your style
If your hair is shiny & healthy, now is the time to start conditioning treatments prior to your wedding day.
3 months -
Choose your veil or hair/head piece. Bring with you to your next appointment.
1 month -
Get your hair trimmed or if you color, perm or chemically straighten hair do these treatments at this time.
Do a trial run of your big-day do. Bring with you someone who will be honest in their opinion. Don't be afraid to tell your stylist you don't like it; after all YOU are paying for the service and the stylist should be doing what YOU are satisfied with!!
Have the stylist show you the best way to remove a headpiece from your hair; should you be thinking of removing at the reception, this way you won't ruin your style. The stylist should have you practice a couple of times before you leave the salon.
If you highlight your hair NOW is the time for a touch.
Create a "Repair Hair Kit" for your big day, stock with extra pins, styling products, etc for any last minute touch-ups. Ask your Maid of Honor to make sure it is with you when you dress.
Your Wedding Day -
Wear a loose shirt that buttons or zips up in the front so that you won't ruin your hair when you change into your wedding gown.
